After ten years of being in the wedding photography business, 2Swans Photography has seen all kinds of bridal accessories. Some brides have every meticulous detail planned months in advance, from the veil to their nails. However, shoes may be one of the most important fashion choices that could make or break your big day (or back). Take it from me, a former bridesmaid who nearly passed out on stage at her sister’s wedding from the excruciating pain of suede heels. Sorry, Claire and Henry, what you thought were tears of joy at your wedding were actually tears of feet pain. To this day, I still can’t fathom how anyone can wear heels comfortably…Fortunately, I think I’m much better at taking photos of heels than I am at wearing them! 😉

These darling Kate Spade heels are my personal favorite, appropriately worn by a bride named Kate. The front is so cute and chic, and the glitter heels add the perfect amount of sparkle.
These boots spoke so much about the personality of the bride and were undoubtedly extremely comfortable on the dance floor.
It’s your wedding, so if you want to rock 3-inch stilettos that are studded with blinding jewels, why the heck not?? It makes our jobs as wedding photographers a lot more fun!
These Christian Louboutin heels were the perfect accessory to a Vietnamese bride who wore red.
Choose these Jimmy Choo’s for a super classy and elegant style.
Besides the obvious considerations of comfort and style. shoes are a potent symbol of stepping into a new role in life. Your wedding shoes should be true to who you are and the person you want to be.
